Our next aim was Guatemala's most famous attraction, but on the way was another sight we couldn't resist - a hot waterfall. And the water was really so hot that you could just shortly swim under it and then enjoy the little more cool water in the pool.
Before visiting the next sight we found a nice base directly at the beautiful lake in El Remate with clear blue and turquoise water that you felt like your are swimming in the Caribbean Sea. On our schedule next was Guatemala biggest Maya ruins - Tikal.
And it was stunning - huge pyramids loom steep into the sky. And they were really steep as we had of course to climb one and from the top you saw the peaks of the pyramids and temples twinkling through the trees of the endless green jungle. And from the bottom you could imagine how much work it was for the archeologists to uncover all the ruins from the jungle.
That was really a great day and of course we wanted to share our experience and therefore we broke a little the law (even though it was written nowhere that it was forbidden) and flew our drone. Hope you like the pictures ;)
In the next report, a lot of work, stunning waterfalls and an island you may now from a famous song...
