When we arrived in Punta Arenas we felt doing something normal and eating something different then pasta. So we went to the cinema and ate some very good Sushi. Of course we did also a walk in the city which has very nice old villas and one with a museum in it showing how it looked like from the inside in the past.
After two days we decided to move on to the next city Puerto Natales. It lies very nice between a fjord and the mountains. We just stopped their shortly on our way to our next aim El Calafate in Argentina.
Arriving there we found a very nice camp ground so we decided to stay a little longer and repack and clean our car and the camp let. The weather waited also with some surprises for us. Some days were very nice but already very cold. But at one day we had snow and in the nights under minus two degrees. So we had our own little Camp-let Winter Challenge.
The next day we got up very early to see the one of Argentina's most famous sights the Perito Moreno Glacier. Together with two new friends we met, who are cycling from Ushuaia up north. The Glacier and the National park were so impressive and really beautiful. We were even lucky to see some big parts breaking out of the Glacier and falling with very loud noise into the water.
And in the evening we made bbq with the best steaks ever and nice red wine.
(The good thing on Argentina, everything is very expensive except of wine and real good steaks
