So lucky to have our cars back again we found a nice campground with Rike and Martin at the Caribbean Sea.
There we spent some relaxing days and discovered the old harbor city and ruins of Portobello. Then we were ready for Panama's capital city. On our schedule was the old city and of course the locks of the famous Panama Canal. Driving through some dodge looking neighborhoods we reached the old city part which was interesting to see, as old colonial nice resaturated houses standing next to some old houses looking like if they will collapse in that moment and not far away you could see the skyscrapers of the business district.
Next on our list were the Miraflores Locks of the Panama Canal, but the entrance fee was very high, so we just got our drone out and shared the fantastic few from the sky with two taxi drivers ;)
Panama City - listo (that means ready).
And after a couple of hours driving, right in time for the sunset, we reached a beautiful beach at the Pacific Ocean. So in one day we tipped our toe in two oceans.
We thought that we also found a nice place to stay. But next day our camera got stolen, just a few minutes being busy and paying not enough attention.
So we kept on going north, driving a long part of Panama, just visiting shortly another nice beach at the Pacific Ocean. We were looking for some cooler temperatures - and found them on over 3000m. A volcano, Mr Bamboo and the longest way down in the next report.
