Jardin is really one of the most beautiful places we have seen so far.
But not only Jardin. When many people think about Colombia, their first thoughts might be drug wars and that it is very dangerous. But that was it for most of the areas in the past. Now it is a beautiful green country with colorful houses, full of flowers and the most friendly people.
And Jardin is a village full of live where the people, not only on weekends, are sitting on the main plaza with their families and friends drinking and chatting.
The way to our next stop Santa Fe de Antioquia took us along a beautiful road through a river valley.
On our way to Medellin we learned that a Camp-let is stronger then a car.
We drove straight on our line when a woman crahed into the back of our Camp-let. We had just a small scratch but her front looks worse.
Waiting for the police we found out that she is not nice person (but she was the first one). Our friend Andres came to help us with translating.
We were told to come next week to the Transito office.
Knowing that we had to come back to Medellin we decided to visit the Reserva Natural Rio Claro which was just 3 hours away.
And there we found a great spot to camp, in the middle of the jungle! We swam every day in the river, walked through the canyon and a little creek. We even saw monkeys and a snake.
The nights were so dark that we couldn't see the hand in front of our eyes.
In our new report: Camp-let behind a another car? The story behind you will find here next week.
