New week, new luck! We finally made it to get the second package with our new clutch out of the customs.
Next step was to find a good mechanic. We found one close by and while we were waiting to get our car back, we discovered some other districts of the city. Lima has two nice plazas and streets with old colonial buildings. We finally found a little food market next to the river where Stefan tried his first cuy (gimme pig)...
Just say it is not his favorite food.
To be ready to move on made us happy, but we heard also some news from Chile which made us sad. A big earthquake hit Chile where we spent 97 days and met so many nice people. And also destroyed places where we had a great time (like in Coquimbo where we cooked fresh fish directly at the harbor).
