On our way to Santa Cruz we found a nice place to camp at a hotel overlooking the mountains. Next stop was Santa Cruz.
And you can't imagine the contrast that city has to offer.
From dirt roads that leads you into the town and streets markets with food and fake brands to absolute modern shopping center like in Dubai. It is like third world country and luxury world in only half an hour driving.
After driving what felt like the longest way ever, 30hrs for 480 km on dirt and dusty roads, including loosing our kitchen in the middle of nowhere, we reached Sucre on 2800m.
The kitchen broke out of the Camp-let during driving due to all the bad roads we drove so far. It was damaged so badly that we took only the back part with us. In Sucre we called Camp-let and they told us that they will help us so that we can cook again ;)
And what helped us also a lot is that in Bolivia you get a meal with three curses for two persons for only 4 Euros. What surprised us here was the difference from the people of the two cities. Sucre is called the white city and it is a really beautiful city with all the old white houses and churches. And after buying another tool we were able to fix the back part at the Camp-let on our own so that we can go on.
