After the interview we got so many messages on our Facebook page that we couldn't answer them all. The people were all so friendly and many of them offered their help.
One of them were the company of Walter Hagemann. They are specialized on Mercedes Benz and other German cars and we arrived their it was like visit a really cool museum: the garage was full of Oldtimer. They replaced our broken window for free. A day later we met another friendly company Valvoline who sponsored us 8 liters of oil. Something really funny happened to us in a café, we were just sitting there when people came to us, asking if they can make a picture with us ;)
And a weird story, by the way. Just had a coke at a gasoline station, came two people to ask.... "If we would mind, we could make a picture from u?"
We just asked why.....
And they said..."we saw u on tv"
How funny, and then we came back to the hostel, and we saw a picture of us driving in a street,.......think we are a kind of famous in Santiago :-)
And after all the stress with the break-in, we were happy to move on. So we went on to Cajon del Maipo, a beautiful canyon that is just one hour drive from Santiago. There we slept our first night after many nights in our car and the hostel, in our camp-let again and saw so many stars that night. Next day we drove to hot springs named Banos Colina. The way to get there was quite adventurous. But when we got there it was just beautiful to sit in hot water surrounded by the Andes. After our drone was repaired we wanted to fly of course. In the beginning everything seemed normal but when we flew over the tubes suddenly the drone didn't react and fall into the salt water. We tried to clean it immediately with tab water but it the salt water has destroyed it already.
It seems that at the moment we are a little unlucky fellowers. After that we went to a little empanada coffee we were invited to a day before. There we were recognized from others guest and they asked us to make pictures with them and they told us they really liked our project. That gave us new brave not to give up and continue our journey.
