In Temuco we planned to find a mechanic to get some things fixed like a new oil filter and the car a little higher. At the end we stayed much longer as we met so many really nice people.
We got our car and the Camp-let cleaned and stayed 5 nights at the car wash were we made some really good friends and had a great bbq at the last night. After explaining our idea to travel around the world and get signatures on our car to donate it at the end for a good purpose, we also get a free car service at Mercedes and found a cheap mechanic who made us a little higher for all the bumpy roads that will come. As we saved money, of course we spent it immediately to pimp our car and the Camp-let with really nice stickers :)
On Saturday where we left it was raining very heavily and it shouldn't stop that day. So we must built up first time the Camp-let during heavy rain and totally wet.
Our plan after this was to go more far north where the weather should be a little warmer and more sunny. After one day driving we reached a really nice area and the landscape changed again: Chile's wine region. The weather was really great and we were right in time for the harvest of the grapes. So we went to the beautiful winery MontGras, where we built up shortly our Camp-let so that it can dry out, while we were joining a wine tour with tasting :)
Later in the evening we where looking for a place to camp and just driven by random a small way down. At the end we saw a nice villa were we met the owner and he invited us to stay at his property Estampa and showed us the best campground overlooking a little lake with the Andes in background and surrounded by the wine yards.
We stayed there for three nights and got a private wine tour including the cellar and really nice meals and wine ;)
